Reviews of Samsung LN26B360 from Amazon.com

The price was right for this TV

I like this LCD TV. The picture and sound are nice and clear. But unless you sit right in front of the TV, you'll see some kind of faded pictures. Also, don't try to use 50 foot composite video cable if your TV is 50 ft away from your STB/DVD because what you'll see is a poor picture. Use component video cables if you can afford. Don't use CAT6 to make component video cables; they won't work at least for this TV. I made three 50 ft component video cables using telephone cables, and they work fine. Good luck.

Ususal Samsung quality

This HDTV has the usual quality of most Samsung TV's. I have several other Samsung HDTV's and this one continues to hold my confidence in their product. Excellent picture and good sound.

I Love This TV!!

We have A 32" samsung in the Living Room. So I got the 26" for my bedroom. Item shipped Extremely fast. Thank you amazon.

Excellent HD quality!

Great quality and sound, very satisfied with my purchase. The only complaint I have is that there is a long delay in first turning the TV on.

Solid Performer

I purchased the Samsung LN26b360 new from Amazon because I have two other, larger Samsung LCD digital TVs and I like the brand. This one, with its 26 inch screen is the largest that will fit in a nice cherry entertainment center that I purchased 20 years ago and was made for the older CRT TVs. The Samsung was easy to set up right out of the box, its digital HD and SD pictures are crisp and clear, and it is lightweight. I have a UHF/VHF antenna on the roof and use that with the Samsung's ATSC tuner to get more than 26 local channels. Then simply by switching to NTSC channel 3, I use it to watch the various channels available on my Dish Network satellite box and delivered to the Samsung via an NTSC modulator. (I watch the Dish network HD channels on the larger Samsung through an HDMI connection, and could use the LN26B's HDMI connection if I wanted to). My only complaint is that the sound quality is a mite tinny, and not as rich as on the larger Samsungs. It really doesn't matter, however, since I have routed the sound output from the back of the LN26B to the stereo amplifier input of my sound system -- also located in the Cherry entertainment center, and listen to the TV sound through the stereo system.
This is an excellent TV value for the money. I recommend it highly.

Buy this TV

This TV shipped very fast by FEDEX. Easy to set up. Great picture. Thank you Amazon for having it on your site.
I've been buying from Amazon for 15 years and have always been very pleased with your service.

Great TV!

Hi all...I've had the TV (LN26B360)for a week now. It arrived very quickly from Amazon, just in time for the World Series and much quicker than I anticipated. The price was much cheaper than any store in my area. The TV is simply a solid TV with a great picture. I don't know why people are complaining about the sound. The sound is fine and quite loud enough for an average sized master bedroom, where it now sits. If you want to blow your neighbor's roof off or take over the world, I suppose you may want to seek another TV. If you're just an average TV watcher like me, you'll love this TV!

We have two!

This is our second 26" Samsung TV (we have a 46" Samsung, too).
The quality is excellent and the price is great.
We won't buy anything but Samsung TV's now.

So far, so good

CAVEAT - I'm only using this TV standard definition right now. The picture is very good and has a wide viewing angle. The speakers are quite adequate for the large bedroom that the TV occupies. I have the TV wall mounted, and no problems with a standard type wall bracket.

The remote makes it easy to switch between picture aspect ratios and video source.

I highly recommend this TV for casual viewing.

Great for a multi-functional computer display

I bought this television a week ago to use in my office. I wanted one display that could be used as a television for my cable and Xbox 360 and also as a display for my PC and Mac Mini. So far this has been a phenomenal solution. It's super convenient to sit at one 26" display and by pressing the source button on the remote switch from cable tv, Windows 7, Mac OS X or my Xbox 360's dashboard.

I'm not an A/V snob so my idea of a good picture probably falls into the category of "good enough". That said, I've owned one Sharp Aquos and 2 Samsung LCD televisions. Out of the three that I've owned I think this is the best picture. The one really pleasant surprise is that Time Warner told me that the only way to get HD channels is with their HD equipped cable box. But I found with the cable signal coming off of the coaxial cable from my wall, the TV is picking up the network channels in HD. Even without the HDMI connection it provides a much better picture then what I'm used to getting.

So far I don't really have any complaints or negative comments about this television. It's been a fantastic addition to my home office for both productivity and playing around.

Fantastic TV

I bought this TV about a month ago, and thus far I have had no problems with it. Picture and sound are spot on, as Samsung has always combined great quality with exceptional pricing. If you cannot afford the SONYs or Panasonics, Samsung is definitely in best in the tier below.

Just be cognizant that this TV has only 2 HDMI ports, if you require more, try the LN26B460.

Great Samsung Quality as usual!

I have been relying on Samsung products for quite a while and I have yet to be disappointed. I own a 50", this 26", 19" monitor, and digital cameras.

With that said, I want to quickly comment on a few of the more 'negative' reviews on certain aspects. First, the size. A 26" LCD is not a living room TV, it's definitely a bedroom (not a cavernous bedroom), small den, or office TV. Second, the sound quality. Right out of the box the default settings make it sound like a tiny music box...that's why you go through the settings and customize the sound with the 'equalizer'; it's absolutely fine now with zero complaints.

I bought mine through the Amazon Warehouse Deals section for $296 because the description mentioned a small blemish on the back housing...I STILL can't find it! Keep in mind that the full, new warranty is still in play when you buy from this section.

Excellent HD Television

I have had this TV for about a month now and I must say the picture quality is absolutely outstanding. I mainly use it for gaming on my Xbox 360 and the picture quality is razor sharp and the colors are quite vivid. Occasionally I use it for Blu-ray movies and it looks amazing as well, it has excellent 24p pulldown to give it that extra "theatre-like" feel to the picture. It has an easy to use menu and lots of picture options to get it to cater to one's specific taste, as well as plenty of inputs. My ONLY complaint is that the default settings are not nearly as good as the TV looks if you adjust the setting to get everything just right. The improvement over the default settings to the quality of the image after you adjust the settings to make it look just right are immeasurable, so it's definitely worth the time to play with the picture settings. Overall AMAZING TV, smart buy!

tv review

I like the picture quality and size of this tv. I am using it in a bookcase so the only change I would make is to have a flat bottom rather than a curve so it can sit directly on the shelf. As it is now, it must sit on its stand.

highly recommended

This is the second HD Samsung we have purchased and love everything about it. Great picture and easy to set up and use.

Excellent Workout Partner!

I bought this so that my wife and I could have a workout "partner" while we exercised - this Samsung 26" HDTV has definitely "fit" the bill! Perfect size for hanging in our basement. Surprisingly good picture quality and light enough to easily install on a swivel wall mount system. Outstanding value for the price.

It made a very high pitched sound HUMMMMMMMMMMMM

I bought this item from amazon warehouse deals. Item came very quickly which looked like it had never been opened but.....................when the unit was turned off it emitted a very HIGH pitched sound. You wouldnt even hear it until it was very quiet. Doing searches I have read some of this lcds make these sounds. It drove me crazy- sent it back no problem

Great T.V.

This lcd tv is very beautiful. I love the piano gloss finish. I didn't give it 5 stars because I have to agree with some of the past reviewers who complained about the "grainy" picture. I had to play with the settings to get it just right. This t.v. was a present for my son so since he has no complaints then I guess I shouldn't either. All in all a great tv and I would definitely recommend it. You can't beat the price...

Great product, great price!

Ordered this TV on Thanksgiving night, and it was delivered to my door at 9:30 on Saturday morning. Easy setup, great picture, excellent product. The Samsung LCD TVs are definietly top of the line. The sound can be a bit weak at times on certain programs, but I have my TV connected to my stereo so I often listen to it this way. I am very happy with my purchase.

High Pitch Noise from TV at All Times

My First and Primary HDTV is an LN52A750, so when my wife wanted a TV for the kitchen I read some negative reviews, but did not hesitate to purchase this LN26B360. The general message of this review is, I am not very thrilled with this TV. We have owned this unit for about a week now. Below is a brief list of Pros and Cons I have observed thus far.

Pros:
1. Good Picture, Not Great
2. Functional Audio
3. Nice Remote Layout
4. Intuitive Menus

Cons:
There is only one con to mention about the product, unfortunately it has shaken my confidence in recommending Samsung to my family and friends. From the moment I plugged the unit in it has emitted a high pitch squeal. When the TV is OFF it is fairly load and very audible. When the TV is on the volume of the squeal lowers a bit. I was debating whether or not to RMA it but nothing leads me to believe a different new TV of the same model would be any better. If I where to look on the bright side the TV is just over the refrigerator and our kitchen is seldom quiet. The bad news is using this TV in our bedroom is not an option

Great TV if your speakers Don't Go Out

This was the 1st HDTV I bought and for the first couple of months I really liked this TV but one day my speakers started to become muffled which for me was an early sign that they may fail early. However, this is not the fault of Samsung since this is probably due to a dud set of speakers so I don't blame them. Its extremely rare for this to happen so more than likely it shouldn't be a problem I would worry about if your thinking of buying this tv.

Great Picture and price

Have only had this since Christmas but so far I love it. Using it in a bedroom so the size is just right and I hung it on the wall and it looks great too. Turns on fast and SD looks good.

Item not recieved

This product was not recieved. I have asked UPS not to leave anything on my porch but they did and it was taken. I hope to order another one someday for my daugther for a late Christmas gift. Amazon needs to talk to UPS about just droping product off. There people out there making a living stealing stuff dropped off like this. I'm thinking about ordering from another company that requires signature.

We bought this Samsung LN268360 26 inch TV for our Mom's bedroom. The clarity of the picture, the easy functionality and the clarity of the voice were all important features. It was easy to set up and go. We are very satisfied with the TV and would highly recommend it.

I BOUGHT TWO OF THESE. I PUT ONE IN KITCHEN ON WALL AND ONE IN BEDROOM ON DRESSER. WIFE IS HAPPY, SO I AM TOO. IT IS TOUGH TO PLEASE SOME WOMEN, SO IT IS NICE WHEN SHE LIKES THEM ALSO. I WAS TOLD NOT TO GO 1080 ON THE SMALLER TV'S, AND THEY WERE RIGHT, SAVED MONEY AND GREAT PICTURE.

A Good Buy Overall

I bought this T.V. to replace an old 20" CRT screen I'd had for the past 6-7 years. I wanted something that could handle HD since I had a PS3 I was hooking up to it. The T.V. itself looks very sleek but does have that black plastic that makes it a dust magnet. The t.v. works great but I did have to tweak the speakers out of the box since it sounded a little "tinny" at first. Overall it's not an issue. It gets 720p and 1080i channels just fine and I think some of my 1080p PS3 games actually come in at 1080p, but I could be wrong. I'm not sure if it's my local cable company, but the channels on this t.v. tend to "rearrange" themselves occasionally so expecting a station or network to be at the same channel number every time doesn't really happen. It occasionally will program back in a channel previously programmed out. That's been my experience with it, anyway. Your mileage may vary. Overall a great t.v. for the price.

High pitched whine/Keep your old TV

I tried 2 of these Samsung TVs to replace on old SONY Trinitron (analog TV). Both Samsungs made a high pitched whine when in standby mode -- later I found this is a standard defect with this model (see other reviews). I end up returning both Samsungs and sticking with the SONY Trinitron -- the brightness of the image, dark blacks, wide viewing angle and naturalness of the color more than made up for the resolution of the digital screen -- which at 26" is not that much greater, and which looks pasty at short distances.
On a positive note: the ease of return to Amazon was great.

Great television for our sitting room

This television was selected to meet our needs. The inputs: composite video (VCR), component video (DVD player), and HDMI (satellite receiver); audio output (assisted listing device - loop) were all part of our needs. Good closed captioning are also part of our needs, however, closed captioning is generated by a HDMI or component video device and not the television. The only annoyance is the slow connect time switching to HDMI. This problem is a HDMI protocol issue and not the television.
After selecting the television, shopping was an interesting experience. Amazon had the best price - much lower than any of the traditional sources.

Best option for 26" Flat Screen

This is the best option for a 26" flatscreen TV. Good for bedroom, kitchen, etc..
(February 01, 2010)

Solid TV and good quality!!!

Purchased for my bedroom and its the perfect size, not too big, not too small. The picture comes in nice and clear on the HD channels. On non-hd channels it looks pretty "meh" but I think that is expected. Only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because I haven't quite hooked it up to full HD to see it's full potential. As of now, I only get in like 3 or 4 HD channels and they come in real clear. A far improvement over non-HD and gets a better picture than the other HD tv in my house. The tv also has some nice features like favorite channels. I can just hit that button it flips through my favorites. So far only complaint is it takes like 3 seconds to cut on, which seems slow compared to regular TV that take only take a second. I think this might just be how these TVs are b/c the other HD tv in the house does the same thing.

Samsung 26b360

The product meets expectations and is a good value. The size is adequate for a bedroom. Despite negative reviews, the sound is OK. It's a little tricky to set up -- but so far as I'm concerned that comes with the territory with electronics. And the picture seems to need constant adjusting. I'll give Samsung the benefit of the doubt and attribute the problem to the networks. Otherwise, it is perfectly fine. So far.

Awesome TV at Awesome Price

Samsung deserves its good reputation for LCD HDTVs, this is my second and I have found no flaws. The sound is not bad for a small bedroom TV. Amazon offered a price $70 below the big box and other online stores.

Very happy with my purchase

The TV is great. The picture looks great even without HD cables. Assembling was easy. The TV has a nice sturdy base. The audio sounds great to me. I would love to have surround speakers but I only have my TV in a small room so it works for me. The screen size is perfect. My boyfriend recommended this brand, and I knew it would be great because he has a larger version. I've got no complaints about the TV at all. I am very happy I got it, and for a great deal!

samsung rock's

I got my T.v. in 3 day's wow!! I haven't had it very long so I can't comment on it's durability but the picture on this thing is great I've had sony and hitachi's (lot larger sizes) but this one is great for my apartment the sound could be better but for 300 buck's i'm not complaining. Would definatley recommend it so far but if this thing quites on me i'm comming back with a bad review :-}

Outstanding Buy!

Shopped a lot for this particular TV and was entirely happy with the purchase. Amazon was terrific in keeping me informed of the shipping time which was ahead of schedule during the Christmas holidays. Price and quality were unmatched by anybody else! Thank you Amazon.com. The Samsung LCD picture quality is heads above most and equal to or above all the other top brands. Set up was simple and programing (plug & play) a breeze. Really a great TV brought to us by a totally classy on-line seller.

Beautiful LCD

I've seen several Samsung LCDs and they always look great. This one is no exception. Beautiful, sharp picture. My only complaint would be the odd 200x100 VESA mounting holes, but I guess they do make the panel more secure.
(February 15, 2010)

A good tv for $285

In reading all the reviews, I had a good idea of what to expect. This is my first non-tube tv and these are my thoughts: The remote is the least intuitive I have experienced. The colors are great, it does humm when turned off, its a bit pixely when the action is fast. I think the sound is great. I use it in the bedroom. If you are going to view it from an angle, the colors aren't as bold. Watching sports on it is nice. I don't have cable so I use an antenna and the reception is ok. I don't always get all the channels in my area. I am going to try to get a amplified antenna and see if that works better. Overall I like it and think it was a great deal for the price. When I get a bigger tv for my living room, I'll probably want to get a higher end tv though.

GREAT PRODUCT, GREAT SERVICE

Samsung has brought color to a whole new meaning to us. The olympics action and color is breath taking. The deliveries were 2 days to Maine and set in living room! FREE! THANKS!! AMAZON!
(February 17, 2010)

Awesome TV

This television is great quality. Sure, it's "only" 720p - but that's fine. For the size of screen I don't any complaints at all. It's got all the inputs I wanted, including a VGA port for my old laptop, and the panel is pretty spacious so even having a few cables plugged in, you can still reach the cables/ports easily. Not having a side panel might make it difficult to plug ne cables in if you have it in a TV cabinet, but the TV isn't heavy and the panel is offset so you won't have to reach far.

It has a few in-built settings that control brightness, saturation and sound. You won't be spoiled for choice, but there are always custom options. The menus are really easy to use and the remote control is uncluttered and quite simple in design. Put it this way - you won't need the user's manual. If by some chance you do - it's fairly hefty and covers the ground well.

The colour is great, everything looks sharp, and the sound is good for built-in speakers. It works very well as a computer monitor (handling the HDMI output well) and looks great on the movies I've watched so far. The automatic picture adjust/resolution detection is great and really makes using a computer with this screen a treat.

As far as viewing angle goes, this is pretty good - there's a slight drop-off in colour intensity as you go past about 60 degrees from head on, but it's still okay at nearly 90 degrees. It's perhaps a little worse as you view from above the screen, but this is unlikely to present a problem for normal viewing and will be no different from other screens in this price bracket.

Some reviewers have mentioned a high-pitched sound when the unit is on standby - I can only congratulate them on having great hearing; yes, it does make a high-pitched noise BUT that's both very high (beyond most adults' hearing) and very quiet. Besides, it's well known that TVs on standby use a great deal of power, so the easy answer is to turn it off at the socket. (By way of comparison, my mobile phone charger also makes a noise when plugged in but not in use - this is about as loud and will take some time of deathly silence to notice it).
(February 21, 2010)

Ok TV if you can live with the high pitch sound

Picture quality is good not great, non-digital channels are bad. The main reason I returned it was because of a high pitch noise that is pretty audible when the TV is off. I was really disappointed because I was expecting the same or better quality as my 5 year old 40" LCD Samsung. Anyway I ended up getting the Samsung LN22B460 22-Inch because I read that the 4 and 5 series are much better than the 3 series. They were right, the digital channels look like HD. It's absolutely beautiful. If Samsung wants to be known for it's quality they should not even offer the 3 series in my opinion.
(February 22, 2010)

Works well; the price was good too

We needed this size TV to fit into a cabinet to replace our old TV. It works fine and the price was very good. Given that we got free shipping, we saved about $50 overall. I had the feeling that this size and model was going to be discontinued, since the larger sizes are not much more money. We had some trouble getting the TV set up, and when we called Samsung, their service reps were poorly trained and did not speak good English. Be prepared to read the manual and do the set-up yourself. The experience of buying the TV itself online from Amazon.com, however, was excellent.
(February 24, 2010)

Amazing!!!

I've had this tv for 2 months now, and I have to say it is great. It's hooked up to the ps3 via an HDMI cable, to picture is amazing, also watching bluray movies on it is unbelievable. I don't regret buying it.
(March 03, 2010)

Overall reasonable choice for good price with little to no issues

Being a college kid and constantly striving to make sure that every dollar spent, is definately worth it, I did weeks of research before coming to the conclusion of purchasing this television. It may be one of the cheaper models that Samsung makes, but personally I believe it so far has proven to be a worth-while purchase. I have owned the TV for about a month now and don't regret it one single bit. Currently, I do not use it as a TV to watch TV, so I can offer no insight to what its compatibility is with standard, mid-western cable service. However, I can review it on its use as a computer monitor and video game television.

As a computer monitor: This television provides crystal clear graphics on computers that can transmit the proper screen format. The computer that I have hooked up to it is a 2006 Dell XPS 400 that originally came with a 19" Flat-screen LCD display in 1280x1024 resolution, so I was not positive on whether or not this hookup would work with the 1360x768 resolution of the TV. Following the owners manual that comes with the television was very helpful in setting this whole process up; however, the use of certain display programs such as ATI Catalyst Control Center may be required in order to change the output to the TV in the correct format. After finally setting everything up, it looks and works like a dream as a monitor. I have watched programming from Hulu, YouTube HD, and other video websites and this TV allows for the full potential of hi-res videos across the internet to substitute for my lack of HD cable service. In fact, as I write this review, I, a very near-sighted man, am typing 6 feet away from the screen and could probably still sit a foot or two back more and strain very little to see what I'm typing. It may be overkill as a computer monitor, but nothing feels better than typing from a futon instead of a computer desk.

As a Gaming TV: Currently pleased with the results, but have not yet hooked up HDMI from my Xbox 360 to reach its full potential. I am using just the component connection that comes with the TV and games such as COD 4: Modern Warfare and Forza Motorsport 3 look stunning. The Xbox 360 originally wants to transmit in 720p, but you can change this manually to 1080i depending on what your preference is between the two. The TV, only 60hz processing speed, does a great job of keeping up with all of the gaming action and explosions with no noticeable blurring of images, so it works perfectly for those faster paced games.

The feature I like the most about the TV is its numerous amount of hookups available in the back. As seen in pictures above, the TV allows for many different electronics to be hooked into. As of right now, I only have a Xbox 360, Xbox, and computer hooked up to it, with the audio out going to the high power stereo I own and still have many other hookups available. Panasonic may have a less expensive TV on Amazon for 26", but it does not have half of the hookups as this Samsung and does not allow for RCA audio-out. So if you are just an entry level LCD TV buyer who does not plan on hooking a ton of electronics up for multi-purpose, the panasonic would be fine, but for those like me, this TV offers many more options to play around with. The picture adjustment is very easy to operate and can help anyone achieve the picture quality they desire whether they want the deep blacks or a little more lighted picture. Customization is almost necessary since Samsung only has provided three picture presets which do not do the TV justice.

Addressing the proposed "squeal" that some people have experienced: Yes, I have noticed that the TV does make what I call a "humming", but it is hardly noticable. The only time that it can be heard is when the room is completely silent and still one has to listen very tentatively to hear it. In comparison to standard televisions which have a much higher "humming" noise, this is nothing. Maybe some of the individuals writing reviews received bad units and this sound is more noticeable, but that is the risk one takes in buying anything, some products can be defective, its the nature of mass manufacturing.

I gave this product a Five star rating because it is very affordable and a great value for those on a tight budget, its versatility to interface with other electronics, and its ease of setup for picture quality and helpful owners manual.

Samsung 26" TV

Am very pleased with this TV. Picture is sharp and the detail in excellent for this price range. Was a little worried about the volume after reading some of the other feedback, but it gets plenty loud for us. Actually, not sure who would want it louder than what it is.

All in all a good value that is performing well.

Samsung LN26B360 LCD TV

The Tv has good reviews.
However my particular box was previously opened.
The sealed packets were opened and tampered with.
There is no way for me to tell it this was a returned item or not.
The TV works good but it could have been refurbished.
Does anyone knows how to tell if it was refurbished?

Christmas gift for my Son

I purchased this TV for my oldest son for Christmas. His primary use is in his bedroom, so he did not need a huge screen. He has been very pleased with the TV. He's told me the picture clarity is good, and the size is just right for his room.

Nice tv.

Very fast shipping. Was a little apprehensive about purchasing a TV over the internet. But I was reassured by Amazon that returns would not be a problem. The TV picture was good right out of the box - only a little tweaking. The sound is adequate for our bedroom. No issues with any noise when it was in standby mode.

Great TV

Works great, picture quality is great even on SD content as long as your not too close. Some other people say the sound is bad but I have not had any trouble with it once I did some adjusting. I use it with a samsung Blu-Ray player and it works great really like that the remote for the Blu-Ray player can control many functions of the TV.

Totally Satisfied customer

I was searching the web for a HDTV for my bedroom & making comparisons. I wanted something much smaller than the one I currently have. I found it at Amazon. The Samsung LN26B360 26-inch 720p LCD HDTV fit the bill and was everything as described by Amazon. It was
delivered 2 days after ordering it. Setting it up was very easy. Great picture, crystal clear. I'm very pleased with my purchase. I own 2 other Samsung products & their performance is excellent too.

Very nice TV

Once I connected some ordinary (computer) speakers to this TV, the whole thing turned to a regular movie theater. Can't beat the price, the ease of set up, etc. I'm sure I could get a far better quality picture for another $500.....but why bother?

Terrible High Pitched Noise extremely irritating while TV is off

I originally purchased this TV back in Feb. After a week when the unit was turned off a high pitched noise would come on. It's coming from the back right side where the cables plug in. I notified Amazon and they were really good about getting a replacement to me. Got that one about two weeks ago and plugged the TV in and it did the same thing. I notified Samsung and they told me I would have to mail the TV for service since it was under 32 inch they would not send a technician. I called local tv repair and he "thinks" it could be fixed but it would cost $150. Called Amazon today and am sending it back. Not sure if it's just a defect in the model or a batch. This TV came from PA. I already own a 46' Samsung and am thrilled with it. Not sure why this one has the problem. Anyone else have this experience?

Amazing Picture Quality

My last television was a huge monstrosity that weighed so much that I'd have to find a muscle man to move it around. When it finally died on me, I was a little excited. The thought of a new television is quite thrilling! After doing a bunch of internet research and going to the local retailers to check out the new world of televisions, I decided that in my price range, this Samsung 26 inch TV was the best quality I could find. When the set arrived at my house, I was surprised that I could lift the box. Once it was out of the box, the sight of how sleek and slim it is nearly left me breathless. But what is most exciting about my new TV is the amazing picture quality. The colors are so vivid and vibrant. It's unlike anything I've seen before. Such crisp lines, such bright colors - has television always been this amazing and I've missed it? With a television this fantastic, I may not leave the house for a few weeks

Love Samsung

Bought this for an extra bedroom. I had bought several Samsung products in the past, and had good luck with each. This model is extremely easy to set up. It's got a good picture and adequate sound, for this size screen.

a little disappointing

The picture is not nearly as sharp as I expected. This unit is hooked up to a cable system. Maybe an HD signal would look better.

Very good product and very good dealer. Would use again without reservations.

Great TV

This is a perfect bedroom size TV. Having it with an HD receiver is a must. I do wish there was a sleep button on the remote instead of having to navigate into the menu to set it, but, the programmable sleep feature to have it turn off at a certain time every day seems to make up for it. I just set it to turn off at 11:30 PM every day, and don't even think about it.

The sound for a bedroom is fine. For a living room, a bigger Samsung TV such as the 46C630 is awesome.

Samsung Satisfied

We are happy as alway with our Samsung. We now have a 46" in the living room and one of these 26" sets in two of our bedrooms. It's not necessarily a living room set but is just perfect in the bedroom.
