Great TV. Fits in my bathroom perfectly, has great picture quality and sound level is fine.

Good quality fairly small - in today's big screen world - lcd tv. The viewer has to be pretty straight on for the best picture. Our large screen Sony has a better picture.

Nice TV. My only complaint is that the off angle viewing drops off considerably when you move even at a slight angle to the screen

I picked up two of these at $219 each from Amazon and recently ordered another one for a relative at $221. A very good value. We have one in a bedroom and one in a home office.

The picture is good but not as good as the Samsung LN19A450 which we also have but is no longer available. I would have preferred the LN19A450 even though it was about $100 more.

In summary these are a good value for the money but not for those who want the absolute best picture and sound in a small TV.

Its stylish, and adds a lot of picture enrichment. If you love sports or action movies, try the game mode and you will notice a distinct difference. Quite impressive.

This TV will not be a good fit in the living room, for one reason it is quite small, and also the bigger reason, the sound quality is very poor.

If you are looking at a small room, I would say this is a good fit, but definitely not for the living room.

This set is a good fit for a small space. As others have said, the built in speakers are tinny, but odds are if you are buying a set this small, you will be using headphones anyhow. I move mine between a very high perch (Bed) and have no trouble viewing it, and a eye level spot (Work Desk) and get exceptional clarity there as well.
I had it from box to viewing in about five minuets. Took me longer to open the damned box then to actually set it up.

You get your moneys worth for sure. Though if you are going to be viewing from more then six feet away, I would opt for a larger set.

TV arrived ahead of schedule. Easy to install. Picture is excellent. Audio is fine considering size of TV and speakers. Audio can be adjusted via the Menu in order to improve the quality.

I was tasked with getting a small TV to put in my parents' kitchen. After reading lots of online reviews and looking at some sets in local stores, I finally decided to take the leap with this unit even though there were complaints of sound quality and small viewing angles. I have several friends with larger Samsung LCDs and they all have been very satisfied, so I trusted the brand.

I'm rather glad I did. This TV now sits on a counter between the main kitchen and the dining area, and while it's not obviously not as clear from every angle as it is straight on, its horizontal viewing angle is at least as good as other LCDs I've seen and better than many. We don't really test the vertical viewing angle much since it's waist to chest height, but it seemed acceptable to me when I sat on the ground in front of it.

I was only marginally concerned about the sound since they have the option of passing the audio through to the kitchen zone of the distributed audio system, but the speakers hold up well for what they are. Don't expect the same sound that comes out of the sound bar of a 42-62" TV since these speakers are appreciably smaller, but they fill the fairly large kitchen/dining area just fine. Don't know if I got a great unit or it's just quieter in our place than other reviewers', but I don't see us having to turn it up much higher than 60 out of 100.

Can't really comment on the overall picture quality as they're just running standard definition to it at this point, but the colors are great.

Very much recommend this model to anyone looking for a small basic set.

Good picture, easy set-up, perfect for the little space on our sailboat. Bought the wall mount with it and it was a snap to install. Only disappointment is that Costco had the same exact TV for $70 less than Amazon 3 weeks later. No price matching by Amazon and too much trouble to return and re-purchase at Costco.

We purchased this tv form Amazon.com about one month ago and have been very pleased with the product. We use in the kitchen and it is excellent for under counter in a small space. Setup was easy and the picture is great. I have used sony previously but will definitely Samsung when making another tv purchase.

Great picture, the looks of the TV is great. The minor problem is the sound is a little "tinny", but since it is not my main TV, (bathroom TV), it's not a major problem.

Purchased the Samsung Tv to replace my old Dell 17 inch in the kitchen nook. I have 2 other samsungs in the house a 32 for the bedroom and a 52inch for the theater room all have excellent pix. But as any Tv goes out of the box doesn't always mean perfect. All Tv's need a touch of calibration for correct flesh tones and contrast. The 19 inch samsung is no exception! After a slight warm up you will need to tone down the color saturation and adjust contrast and brightness. Back lighting is also an issue. ( Depends on the room). As for the sound yes it got no oomph and its tinny so go to the audio section of the tv and customize you audio. Turn up the bass, down on the 10k, and the mid range. You will have to adjust according to your taste. After this you should be very happy with your purchase.

This is a great little TV for the money. I hooked up my PS3 via HDMI and the picture quality is real nice. I thought the screen size might be too small but it's just right for me sitting about 3 feet away. People are saying the internal speakers suck. I attached external ones so I can't comment about the sound quality.

Ordered this TV for my mom on the Monday before Christmas and got it on Wednesday two days later. That was with the free shipping option. I have had this same TV in my kitchen for several months now and love the picture. We also use it in our Travel Trailer when we go camping. The picture is so clear and the sound works great in both environments. Can't go wrong with this TV!

Reviews I have read about a "tinny" sound are absolutely true. Not bad when watching regular tv shows, but annoying when trying to listen to a music station. You better know where all the buttons on the remote are if you try to change the channel in the dark. It has a very short time from pushing one button to it cancelling out the whole thing before you get another button pushed. For HD channels that require "-" between numbers--you gotta move quickly! This model is OK, but not great. Would not buy this model again although I love my other Samsung tvs!

We purchased this tv for mom's house,this is for her kitchen counter. This 19 inch tv fits great on kitchen counters they take up less room then the old style tv's.
We have a 46 samsung that we love,and we want to say with the same brand.
Let me say that this is one very sharp looking tv, easy to use.
Just make sure that it's settings are correct and buy a HDMI cable,
It make's all the difference,
If I had to complain about anything, it's that with most of these LCD,LED,Plasma TV's is that they all have poor sound speakers. you just need to hook it up to a surround sound system, and WOW night and Day difference.
Samsung TV's are TOP notch TV's.

We got this 19' TV for the kitchen. We have 2 other larger Samsung TV's. They have the best picture. This 19" has the speakers pointed straight down from the bottom of the screen. They sound "tinny".
I am going to return it and get one with better audio even though the picture might not be as good..

this is the perfect T.V. for my desk.It has all the features I wanted and has an excellent picture

For the money, we are pleased with the TV. At times the picture is a little dark in scenes that are dark. We use in the bedroom and is perfect size. Sound is okay, but not great. Wish sleep button was easier to get to. Have to go through 3 steps to get there.

I got this for my dorm room just to use when I go to sleep to catch up on some news or sports!! It works great looks nice! I pick up a few HD channels and they look perfect and the SD looks good too since its a small TV. The sound is decent not great but as long as you use this in a small area you can hear it perfect. I got it Brand new with free shipping for $158 on Ebay so check if that seller is still selling it! I got a steal! OVERALL GREAT VALUE FOR A GOOD TV! I OWN 3 SAMSUNG TV'S in total and its a great brand!

Could someone tell me if this TV has a Headphone jack output I think the size of the jack is 5mm and it would have a picture of headphones above or below the jack

TV arrived in excellent shape and protective packaging was ample. Set up was a breeze and now mom has a nice little flatscreen in her kitchen. Set up with the antenna and descrambler was also quick and easy.

So far, so good. I dig on Samsung monitors, just keep in mind, 19" is pretty small for a TV.

I purchased this TV from a warehouse club and bought the Peerless articulating arm (through Amazon) to mount the TV in my kitchen. First of all, I wanted to advise you that the aeshtetics of this LCD TV are beautiful, and the shiny piano black front facade and that blue glow at the bottom will look great with most kitchens. In addition, the form factor is very small in relation to the 19" size of TV, and works great with a wall mount.

The picture appears to be "typical Samsung," but, unfortunately, the sound also appears to be "typical Samsung." The former is a compliment, but the latter is definitely not a compliment. Another reviewer stated the sound is projected from the bottom of the set; I didn't check, but it sounds like it is being projected from a Campbell's soup can. I'm only half kidding, because the sound is actually okay at best (given its size) if you mess with the built in equalizer. For those of you that are unhappy with the volume of the preset sound packages, I would highly recommend the "Custom" and then messing with the equalizer to boost the volume.

The Pros are that the picture is excellent, the set, itself, is very attractive, and the price is very reasonable from Amazon (with free shipping). Now the only real Con I have is the poor sound from this unit (wouldn't it be great if Samsung teamed up with JBL, Altec Lansing, or Infinity on their TV sets... hint, hint, Samsung).

This TV is exactly what I expected it to be. I had to replace a 12 year old 19inch Samsung TV. This was the best choice. The picture is crystal clear. The sound quality and volume are amazing. I live in a dorm and can hear it through doors and down the hall. I am positive I will get my monies worth out of this TV.

We just love this TV. It has a great picture and fits just perfect in our kitchen. The sound quality has not be a problem for us and the kitchen is rather small. Couldn't be more pleased.

For the money, you really can't beat this nice little TV. I agree with what others have said about tinny sound, but as a kitchen TV it's just fine. It looks nice, has a small footprint and the picture is excellent.

I really like this little tv. The sound is what you would expect from such a small tv, but it is fine. You just go in and do some adjusting on the sound control.Great for the small nook in the kitchen..........

I bought this to watch while working on crafts with the kids and I love it. It does have small speakers (so sound is not as great as other have said) but hooked up to stereo speakers and it is fine. I also am having an issue with the plug...it seems to disconnect easily.

Nice little, inexpensive TV. Easy to set up. Works very well with cable. And also purchased a HD antenna for over air usage. Fairly easy to switch between cable and antenna, each with good picture quality.

Love the picture and sound on this tv- it was way better than expected. And for the price!! It came super well packaged and over protected. I would buy this item 10 more times if I had a use for 10 more TVs.

My husband and I purchased this Samsung TV on Amazon.com and were very sceptical about it. I wanted to go to a store, but gave in. The price was the best we've researched, so we took a chance. The TV came within a week and it was packaged safely. It was a belated Christmas gift for our college daughter, so we didn't open it up until we brought it to her. It was easy to set up and she loves having her small tv for all the girls on her floor to watch their favorite shows!

Using this TV as a security monitor. It's well designed and I was impressed with the fact that it came with the hardware to mount it to the wall along with the traditional stand. I chose to wall mount the unit and am pleased with the picture quality and the overall look of the unit. I would recommend this to others.

Purchased this 19" Samsung for our bedroom. Very happy with the picture & sound quality. We already own a 32" Samsung, so we knew we'd be getting a quality tv. The price was excellent compared to what the stores in our area offered.

I needed a small television for the bedroom. The 19 inch turned out to be the right size. Not to big and not to small. I have always had good luck with Samsung products and this was one meet my expectation.

I bought this TV for a RV but if I were buying it for a room I would get a larger one. Easy set-up-----even I could do it.

Purchased this as a temporary replacement for a 26 inch Sony, (brand new) that had problems. Used in a camper, now mounted on the wall in the bed room corner wall. (Peerless PA740 mount) Very good TV for the price, $179 at BJ's or Costco. Noticed that current price from Amazon is again competitve. The sound is adequate, the picture and reception (with Wineguard antenna)is very good. I have no complants, it has been in use for two months now.

The first thing to consider is that you're in the 19" TV class: Home Theater perfection isn't really going to be found here. Nevertheless, I spent ~25 more for the Samsung vs. some other brands I compared to (Vizio, etc.). I've owned other Samsung LCD products (including 52" 7 Series TV), and felt that the familiar menu system and confidence that Warranty Service/Repair will be easily handled should it ever be required. I'm feeding this TV Timer Warner Cable (no box) in my finished base- directly in front of my treadmill. Instead of spending $$$ on a wall mount, I bought a 3' x 8" wall shelf at Lowe's that works perfect: the TV can still be adjusted using it's own stand, and I have room for the remote, etc.

Although I'm satisfied with the purchase, there are some things that need to be considered. Black Levels (always a challenge for LCD's) are clearly not as good as anyones old CRT: with the lights off in my basement, letterbox "black" bars are clearly lighter than other displays. Also, motion blur is apparent- especially on Standard Definition chanels with scrolling text (like ESPN). As expected, all of the local HD channels look excellent.

I feel that I knew what I was getting when I purchased this, and it hasn't come with any surprises. All in all, I would buy again.

This is a great little set! I am using it with Comcast cable, one with the Comcast HD DVR box - looks great - great picture, NO problems! The other set I am using without a Comcast box -- direct to the Comcast cable in the wall - it scanned and picked up many of the Comcast channels that I am paying for (as part of the inbetween/dash # channels). It does not pick up the high end STARZ channels, or the Music channels, etc, that I am paying for, but does pick up a lot of the other ones. It is a GREAT second set for the bedroom or office/exercise room, etc. I love Samsung products!!

The Samsung 19-inch 720p HDTV is excellent quality. This one is for my office. We already had a 40" and a 46" Samsung 1080p HDTV at our home, and we've been very pleased with them.

This item was received before the "due" date, and it was exactly what I wanted. Good experience overall.

Typical Samsung Quality. I love it, great picture & my next purchase when my main tv goes out will be a 50 or 52 inch Samsung.
