These LCD televisions come in a variety of sizes and from a number of different manufactures. They can be mounted in a wall or can stand alone placed on top of a table or bookshelf.
Location of a LCD TV: Locate where you want to mount the LCD TV. Mark it with a pencil using a straight line.
Mounting of a LCD TV: Pull off the plastic covers. They are located on the back of the television. Lay the television face down on the table on top of a towel or blanket. Take a stud finder to locate the studs in the wall. A stud is the wooded support beam that goes up and down behind the wall. Hold the stud finder against the wall horizontally, move the stud finder back and forth until you hear the beep. Usually the studs are about 6 inches apart and about 2 inches wide. Mark the studs with a pencil.
